Terms of Service — Tocaris
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This document covers specifically the use of Tocaris (the "App"). The account and payment you manage at accounts.emysof.com are additionally governed by the EmySof Account and Payments Terms of Service — this document doesn't replace them, it complements them.
1. Who we are
Tocaris is developed and operated by EmySof ("we", "the Developer"). Contact: [email protected].
2. What Tocaris is
Tocaris lets you import your own Guitar Pro files (.gp/.gp3/.gp4/.gp5/.gpx) to practice them with synchronized score and tab, an interactive fretboard, and practice metrics. To use Tocaris you need an EmySof account (shared with other products in the ecosystem) created at accounts.emysof.com.
3. Plans and pricing
Tocaris offers the following plans:
- Free: 2 song imports for life (not reset when you delete a song), with full access to every practice tool.
- Monthly — $5.99 USD/month: unlimited imports. This is a recurring subscription that renews automatically every month until you cancel it.
- Annual — $39 USD/year: same benefit as Monthly, billed once a year. This is also a recurring subscription that renews automatically every year until you cancel it.
- Lifetime — $79 USD, one-time payment: Pro access for life. Not a subscription — it never renews or charges again. Limited launch offer for the first 200 purchases — once that number is reached, the Lifetime plan stops being available for purchase (the Monthly and Annual plans have no seat limit).
All payments are processed through EmySof (Stripe), via accounts.emysof.com.
Technical limits per plan — Free: files up to 10 MB each. Pro (Monthly, Annual or Lifetime): files up to 20 MB each, with a cumulative storage space of 5 GB per account.
4. Cancelling subscriptions
You can cancel your Monthly or Annual subscription at any time from your account's billing portal (accessible from accounts.emysof.com). When you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period already paid for — you won't be charged again, and there's no prorated refund for the remaining time unless applicable law requires it.
5. Refunds
Payments are governed by the same refund policy as the shared EmySof account: subject to our discretion and to your card network's or payment method's policies. To request a refund, write to us at [email protected] with your account's email.
6. Your content (the files you import)
The Guitar Pro files you import remain yours — Tocaris stores them only so you can practice them, and we don't share them with anyone else. You're responsible for having the necessary rights over any file you import (for example, a tab transcription can have its own copyright, separate from the original song's). We don't use your files to train AI models or share them with third parties.
7. License to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Tocaris while your account is active, exclusively for your personal, non-commercial practice. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute access to your account, or use the App for illegal purposes or purposes that infringe third-party rights.
8. "As is" — no guarantee of uninterrupted availability
Tocaris is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that the App will run without interruptions, errors, or that it will remain compatible indefinitely with every browser or device.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EmySof's total liability to you for any claim related to Tocaris will not exceed the amount you actually paid in the last 12 months.
10. End of service or company closure
We reserve the right to discontinue Tocaris, or to close or dissolve EmySof as a company, at any time and without cause. If you have an active subscription at the time of discontinuation or closure, you won't be charged for the next period.
Neither the discontinuation of Tocaris nor the closure or dissolution of EmySof, by themselves, create a right to a refund for the period already paid for (unless applicable law imperatively requires it), nor do they give rise to any liability on our part — including claims, lawsuits or legal actions of any kind — beyond the limit already established in section 9 (Limitation of liability) of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update this document — the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of Tocaris after a change implies your acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, unless the law of your country of residence imperatively requires a different jurisdiction.
